Psychotherapist in private practice -- l98l to present providing:

 
• ongoing individual and group psychotherapy specializing in post trauma therapy, & dissociative disorders, and women's growth and change using a wide range of therapeutic approaches.
• professional workshops and consultation in post trauma treatment & the psychotherapy of dissociative disorders through: Clinical Social Work Society of DE. Dept. Mental Health & Substance Abuse (1994-1991); University of Delaware, 1994.
• Critical Incident Stress Debriefings for businesses & community groups following community distress &/or trauma.
• On Your Mind, a bi-weekly mental health column in the Wilmington News Journal newspaper (1997-99). Edited over 100 columns and authored over sixty. (Copies available upon request).
• on-going consultation & supervision for area professionals.
• professional and community talks on healing for issues of trauma, & child sexual abuse.

• Numerous professional trainings on issues of trauma, PTSD, and dissociation (see below)
• “Resiliency Training” comprehensive staff development for staff at Reflections residential treatment program—1998-99, co-developed and co-taught the training program.
• DE Dept. Alcohol Drug Abuse & Mental Health (DADAMAH), 1-3 day workshops on dissociative disorders, PTSD, affect theory and the developmental impact of trauma.

A total of 105 columns were published on a wide range of mental health related topics of which I wrote approximately 60 and edited the remainder.
